Resolving Differences

A project funded through central government following the UK riots of 2001. We developed the capacity (to tackle racism and to promote community cohesion) of some 60 young people in the Mansfield area of Nottingham. This was achieved through a combination of dialogues and training - which included breaking down barriers between young people and the police. The underlying theme of this project was the promotion of “Active Citizenship”. The young people we have worked with have had extensive training in Active Citizenship and Leadership.
