Active Citizenship
A ‘good citizen’ is someone who follows the law regardless of what their individual opinion is and of whether or not the law is treating everyone equally. Active Citizenship is an excellent opportunity to empower young people and ensure that in the future the next generation will be able to make informed fair decisions of their own, regarding their future and the future of those around them.
It is important that the next generation take the power that British Citizenship gives them, it is essential for this country’s future that we foster fair and active leaders. Above all, as teachers and facilitators, it should be an absolute priority, to us, that the younger generation understand the consequences of their choices and the importance of fair and equal society for all.
