Community Cohesion Training The Human Relations Network have been contracted by the Neighbourhood Renewal Unit to deliver a series of free cultural diversity/equality training sessions across Mansfield's voluntary and community sector. Our training sessions will cover cultural diversity, citizenship, cultural leadership, the nature of structual forms of discrimination, how to challenge discrimination and stereotyping and how to promote community cohesion through your organisation. The training session, which is will be delivered by Pam Burrows and will last for one full day and is certificated. Interfaith Training The Human Relations Network have been contracted by the Community Empowerment Fund to delver a series of free Interfaith Training sessions across Mansfield's voluntary and community sector. These sessions will cover what faith and religion is, identity and culture, how different faiths can work together the history and geography of world faiths for example. The training session, which will be delivered by Pam Burrows and will last for one full day and is certificated. PQASSO and Quality First HRN members have been trained by Tony Farley, the founder of PQASSO and Quality First. PQASSO and Quality First are self assessment quality toolkits for voluntary and community organisations. They allow organisations the opportunity to assess areas of performance including: - Stating your purpose - Your standards and values - Managing it all - Involving your community - Working together as volunteers - Promoting equality and fairness - Reviewing your work - Financial management - Communicating effectively
