Below are a list of past + current projects contained within the Derby Social Cohesion Project

Project Objectives

To increase community consultation with young people, residents groups, local businesses and faith communities.

To build bridges between young people and the adult community through active conflict resolution and problem solving.

To increase community capacity and leadership within neighbourhoods.

To increase cultural awareness and value diversity.

To enable all sections of the community to work together on the process of civic and neighbourhood renewal.

To produce a report on the key issues and processes which will contribute to strengthening community cohesion and reducing conflict and disorder.

To support the LSP’s/LA’s capacity building and contribute to the Community Planning process
